You can delete your UploMD account and the personal and health
information associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and what
happens to your data when you do.
Confirm. Your account and its data are then removed as described below.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email
support@uplomd.com from the address on
your account and ask us to delete it. We verify your identity before acting on the
request and complete it within a reasonable period.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
Your account profile (name, date of birth, contact details, profile photo);
Your uploaded and requested medical records, documents, images, and imaging studies;
Your facility list, records-request history, and signed authorizations;
Any AI-generated summaries derived from your records;
The share access you granted to others, which is revoked.
What may be retained, and for how long
Some information may persist for a limited time after deletion:
Backups and system logs — residual copies in encrypted backups
and security logs are purged on a rolling basis (typically within 90 days).
Legal and compliance records — we may retain limited information
where required by law (for example, transaction or audit records), and we keep it only
as long as required.
You can also delete individual records at any time from within the app
without deleting your whole account.
Deleting separate accounts. If you manage records for a dependent,
deleting your account also removes the dependent profiles you created. People you
invited to manage or view your records are not affected; only their access to your
account is removed.
